New Name, Same Mission: A Fresh Chapter for Delta Church in Sunbury Ohio

We’re getting close to officially being Delta Church in Sunbury Ohio.

Over the past few months, we’ve been walking through a rebranding process—praying, planning, and preparing to more clearly express who we are and what God has called us to be. And this week, one big piece of that puzzle is finally coming into place: our new building sign is being installed!

This is more than just a new look—it’s a visible reminder of the story we’re living and the kind of church we’re becoming.

At Delta Church, we believe that Jesus meets us in our brokenness and leads us into wholeness. That’s what our new mission is all about:

To be a place where broken stories find new wholeness in Jesus.

We’ve also named the values that shape how we live out this mission:

• Open-Handed: Choosing trust over control

  • We hold our plans, relationships, and resources with open hands—trusting God with the outcomes and walking in His peace.

• Whole-Hearted: Showing up full, not fractioned

  • We don’t compartmentalize our faith. We bring our full selves into relationship with Jesus and one another.

  • Spirit-Sourced:Surrendering our story for Jesus’

    • We believe true transformation comes when we let the Spirit lead—not just in moments of worship, but in the day-to-day of our lives.

As you walk into the building in the coming weeks, you’ll see new signage and posters that reflect these core truths. But more than that, we hope you feel it—in the way you're welcomed, prayed for, and invited to be part of something real.
